After living in Auckland for many years, I am now happy to be a refugee from that city, relocating to Cromwell, Central Otago, where I can explore the wonderful landscapes of that region.

Until the last three years, I have used a medium-format film camera. My present camera is the mirrorless Sony A7R 3, a welcome relief in weight reduction, now that I no longer have to carry the equivalent of several bricks on my back.

I currently work as a builder, creating houses out of structural insulated panels - SIP Panels. In my spare time I will be outdoors photographing the southern landscape, doing a bit of mountain biking, and hopefully some time in the future winning Lotto.
